The Tool Cooperative was started to assist tool cooperatives. Sharing tools helps the environment by reducing redundant manufacturing resources, helps homeowners on a budget gain access to tools the otherwise could not afford, and creates a community in your neighborhood. It is all about sharing the resources you have and benefiting from the resources of others- cooperation is a good thing!

As the membership drive gets going we hope to have many neighborhood tool cooperatives throughout Michigan and other states.

We are starting small just in the Ann Arbor area to see how the process goes. We will provide the information we gather to help other cooperatives get going later this year. If you have any ideas or want to provide input we will have a form soon.
